Our Beginning

In 2013, we felt led to prayerfully assess the need and desire for a God Invasion-Releasing Revival, an initiative focused on a revival ministry. Michael Thornton had written a book called "Fire in the Carolina's", so we invited him from North Carolina to come and be our first speaker. We had 120 in attendance as in the upper room and thought that was significant. Afterward, we took a year to pray and seek God's direction for our future. 

God Invasion started with seven prayer and intercessors in Sept. 2015. Within a short time we were running 35 on East Butler Road, in Greenville, S.C. God spoke to us to bring in national speakers for the first weekend of every month in 2016. 

In February of 2016 we began. Our speakers and messages were as follows:

Michael Thornton - Redigging the Wells of Revival. After the session he inquired from Karyl where the high spot in Greenville was. She told him Paris Mountain. He said, "let's take my leaders and your prayer warriors up to the top of Parris Mt. to pray for revival. Together there were 8 of us (new beginnings). We all prayed for revival on the mountain for two and a half hours. Michael had brought communion with him so he instructed us to take half and we prayed, and he dug a hole in the ground with his foot and poured the rest of the communion into the grounds to dedicate the mountain back to the Lord. Holmes Bible College 100 years prior had a revival on that mountain. We dedicated and gave it back to the Lord that day. 

The following month we had invited Bill Yount from the Elijah List to come. His ministry was to blow a shofar and break off strongholds from families, ministries, and people that held them back from a move of God. He said the verse that came to his mind was, "Open up ye ancient gates, that the King of Glory might come in." Then told every to say out loud, "Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords." To our amazement right after that, the city put gates across the road that led up to that mountain. Prior to us going up kids had made that their area to use graffiti. All communication towers to TV etc. are on this mountain top. We were amazed, that God had closed off access to to that mountain after we had dedicated it back to the Lord and blew the Shofar.  

Moving forward we had regional rallies for our Hubs quarterly to prepare them for the revival that was coming. Other guest speakers we brought in were, Dr. Julio Sotero, Corey Russell, John Burton, Shawn Patrick Williams, Ryan LaStrange, Jeri Hill, Dr. Michael Brown, Karen Wheaton, and many others. 

They proved to be well attended and pastors, churches, leaders, and people were all being prepared for the revival we know God is sending.
